I am Jewish too. I support Jewish students being able to learn free from antisemitism which is rampant now on college campuses, harassment and intimidation in the US. I am not hugging Trump but do support his standing up for Jewish students. I recognize the complete hypocrisy of him condemning protestors after the assault on Democracy of Jan 6. Let’s take support where we get it. It doesn’t mean we have to like or support him in general.

The protests were over the war crimes of Israel. Criticizing Israel and Netanyahu is not anti-semitism

This is Tic Tok generation protest. The students also had weird rules about what members of the would engage: It was very strange and student-centric. It was different form of “protest” and camp outs. Some of the camping sites allowed non students. It was all very different.

Now these groups are getting difficult consequences. It’s not the 80s, 90s, 2000s or 2010s. Certainly not the sixties. Those jewish kids were AWESOME!
