Yes. Several other pools have started emulating this (including ours). Seeding makes the b meet move faster, it makes coc job much easier, it gets kids better times.  It’s also better for slower swimmers.   [/quote]

I’m an efficiency person and the other thing you could do to speed up B meets that worked on the club level is to group the ages and run heats mixed gender. I would group them 8 and under, 9-12 and 13 and over. Club also ran heats fastest to slowest at the PVS Opens this year and it did seem to help with the efficiency, so you could try that at B meets too. You want to make summer swim attractive and fun for all levels of swimmers and B meets that are just a hot mess and last 4-5 hours do not help. [/quote]
