Cornell vs Wisconsin that is a joke. Wisconsin in the early 2000s became the it school for NE parents because their darlings couldn't cut it at state flagships or Ivies. Wisconsin grew into a good business school from that with mommy and daddy in Chicago and NY networking for them. Is Wisconsin worth it now OOS hell no not with the Trump administration destroying the economy. Financial stupidity if your kid gets into a state flagship as well. Is it a fun school yes, are the kids smart yep are they as smart as Cornell kids not in any reality. Huge difference in job offers from WI vs Cornell.
You are living in the past. Wisconsin is hot among high schoolers. Cornell is the exact opposite. As for job opportunities, let the results speak for themself. We actively recruit Wisconsin grads.
What cheesehead planet are you living on? Here's some actual data. No one is picking U. Wisconsin over Cornell, unless they live in Wisconsin and it would save their parents a bundle on tuition. Cornell acceptance rate: 7.36% U. Wisconsin Madison rate: 43%
Out of state acceptance rates are roughly equivalent. That also isn’t a metric that means much. Compare the quality of graduates instead.
