Does anyone know if delayed openings count toward a partial snow day in terms of the 10 built in to the school year? We have had 4 days off plus two delayed openings so is that 4 and 2/3? My kids would love a couple of snow days and are old enough to be be home alone so I'm good with snow days--but I don't want to get too close to our limit.
That’s a really stupid thought, sorry. Winter is almost over. And no, 2 hr delays do not count as snow says. lol.
I did not think they counted as snow days but wondered if they might count as partial snow days. Only because I know they "built in 10 days" are based on instructional hours and now an actual extra 10 days beyond what is required. I also would not say winter is almost over. Historically we have had more snow in February and March than in December and January.
