Also, regarding some disinfo and misinfo and other bad info out there, 1. Accepting a pardon does not admit guilt. The closest you could get to arguing that was a 1913 case that suggested it implied guilt, but didn't actually cross the line to say it is an actual admission of guilt. 2. They don't actually have to accept the pardon as soon as the President issues it. They could wait until prosecution or conviction and then accept it to get out of any penalties. 3. Having a pardon DOES NOT take away a person's 5th Amendment rights. [/quote]
