These pardons raise more questions. And, you can bet investigations of these people will not come to a halt.

This is just yet another example of this lawless administration. Commit crimes? Friend of Biden? Part of the resistance? Get a pardon so you will not be held accountable.

It's clear that Fauci lied and hid information about COVID, including the origin of COVID, to cover any roles that the NIH may have had through possibly indirectly funding the research at WIV and not monitoring it properly. He probably told himself it was in the name of good and health and safety and scientific research, but he still went out of his way to distort knowledge around COVID, the Wuhan lab and he also made up stuff like six feet apart that the country willfully followed for years. Which affected hundreds of millions of people. I don't doubt with the right DOJ he could have been prosecuted and found guilty, after all, the pardons do confirm he broke laws that can be prosecuted.
The irony perhaps is that these pardons only confirm what all the Republican *majority* voters believe about Washington and only made any Democratic recovery much more difficult. I don't think this is the end of the chapter. I would not be surprised if there's a way around these pardons.
Do you have a TBI, or did your mom drink when she was pregnant? It’s gotta be one or the other.
DP. You sound unhinged when you go after posters personally. If you have an argument about the merits of these pardons, make it. But cool it with the insults.

Also, regarding some disinfo and misinfo and other bad info out there,
1. Accepting a pardon does not admit guilt. The closest you could get to arguing that was a 1913 case that suggested it implied guilt, but didn't actually cross the line to say it is an actual admission of guilt.
2. They don't actually have to accept the pardon as soon as the President issues it. They could wait until prosecution or conviction and then accept it to get out of any penalties.
3. Having a pardon DOES NOT take away a person's 5th Amendment rights.
These pardon will be found by SCOTUS to be unconstitutional. Remember Biden did not win the election therefore anything he did while in the White House is illegal including issuing pardons.

Yes the pardons should have been a blanket pardon for anyone covering any crimes related to opposing Trump.

Anonymous wrote:good point. The dumb thing is these pardons may not be constitutionally valid and the sheer number could force this issue.
