I do think that much of this is because a "big deal, instagram, What You Do for a wedding in these times" ....  weddings and funerals were always the family reunions for years and years.... but now it's only funerals or Reunions, if a family creates that party.  It's too bad, but ALSO we didn't have any kids running around, throwing cake, or doing anything horrible - they were supervised by their parents (or any relatives nearby would have stepped up - that's how a Greek family does it)[/quote]
