That’s optimistic. IMHO all of these teams are player collectors.  Besides the money the team also deprives its competitors from having those athletes. If one team has the top four goalies how much better do they look than thier competition.  Never mind that goalie 2-4 are not getting the playing time they deserve. [/quote]

Yes, this is accurate, and the reality is that clubs are running a business.   DM makes a nice living but it’s probably less than most of the country club Mater Dei type families whose kids are in his program.   So of course he will boost his income by taking in more players if they are willing.   The better question is what are the parents thinking joining a 30 man roster.   The problems for the bottom 10 are obvious, but it is not a great environment for the middle ten or even the top 10 either.  [/quote]
