Make of that what you will but when nearly half of a very small school competes in varsity sports it's going to impact the overall atmosphere of the school. Notre Dame is bigger and it's a solid school academically. Unless you are totally wedded to the SLAC experience, I would choose that. Both are better options that Pitt or Emory-Oxford.
