I just posted above and I agree about this.  There are lots of WI grads in the DC area and we all can't help but get a smile on our faces when we talk about it. We loved the school, are proud of attending, and think it has served us well.  [/quote]

Not a Wisconsin grad but would tend to agree that alumni seem pretty happy.  That said, have noticed this phenomenon with a few of the other Big10 schools as well.  My sense is that they're just fun places where you can get a good education in a more laid back (than DC) environment.  Schools like Michigan that attract more east coasters aren't quite the same.[/quote]
