Mel is 8 weeks pregnant, and Charmaine is 5 months pregnant?  So, in 3 months, Jack got Charmaine pregnant, broke up with her, fell in love with Mel, broke up with her, and then was broken up long enough for Mel to make a life altering decision and do a round of IVF?  And yet Charmaine and Joey are judged for rushing to marriage too fast?

I'm also kind of stuck on the idea that it's such a small isolated town that everyone knows everyone, and yet also a big enough community to have like 30 people out paddle boating on a regular weekday. This is part of what makes the show so entertaining.

I just can’t stop laughing about how frequently jack and mel talk about their feelings. I think at the beginning of almost every scene mel asks jack “are you okay?” Or “what’s wrong?” Same for preacher and jack except preacher always offers to cover jack’s shift or finish up for him because jack is such a sad sack.[/quote]
