She and the infant survived the pregnancy and c-section, but a few days later at home the little girl began hemorrhaging and ended up with an emergency hysterectomy. Just imagine a ten year old trying to deal with the aftermath of birth. Peri bottles and big mesh undies, ice packs, aching breasts, all at a time when she should still be playing.
