And let’s be clear that all of these ‘free’ benefits are free to the undocumented immigrants.  But they are paid for by taxpayers.  Usually that means middle-class and working class individuals, since the wealthy know how to avoid taxes and the poor can get tax relief and tax credits.

You want to know why the middle class here in the US is being squeezed?  This is one of the many reasons.  Our taxes continue to rise to subsidize these social programs for millions and millions of undocumented immigrants.  [/quote]

NYS offers grants for undocumented immigrants to attend colleges.  There is only a finite amount of money.  If they are using this money for undocumented students, then that means less money for kids who are citizens.

Our public schools don’t have enough money for toilet paper and textbooks.  Our class sizes are ginormous.  Yet, kids who are ESOL get small class sizes, free meals and free field trips.  [/quote]
