I think the way people penalize a person for wanting to do nothing but enjoy themselves even sadder. What is the point? We are all going to die? Why do I need to pushed into doing all these things I don't want to do when all I want to do is sit around and enjoy the present moment?[/quote]

because it is not possible to enjoy the present moment all the time. if you never experience unpleasant things, you cannot enjoy anything either. such is the nature of experience. pleasure only works if there is something not pleasurable to compare it to.[/quote]
