The premise is we would favor applicants from these colleges in some sort of rank order, with an applicant from the lowest rung having much chance of succeeding against the school on the highest rung. In my general experience, the candidate is what matters most, and assuming the schools are roughly in the same broad level of quality, it doesn't matter that much, and these schools are largely in a similar category.[/quote]
