Um. They're a little busy at the moment.  :roll:  Seriously, don't hold your breath. There are a gazillion things that are much more urgent for many more kids.

Roughly 75% of DCPS kids are poor/disadvantaged. 80% percent are not white. 15% have diagnosed disabilities requiring special education.

Then there's things like the digital divide, gun violence and trauma, language barriers, looming evictions, transportation issues, higher cases of and deaths from COVID, stressors like police shooting (WaPo article today), delta variant spread....What am I missing? Oh right. Access to food through schools

Why should DCPS spend more tme and money on future buildings for kids who could probably Zoom for another year from the comfort of some of the nicest homes in the city.

They don't have a solid plan for Foxhall. It's a nice to have problem for a system facing life and death  issues today.

New poster here, I agree that these are bigger issues facing DCPS, but they've had big issues for decades and have continued to make decisions and plans during that time. 
Also part of the announcement of the new schools in Ward 3 was about Hardy MS and a possible new HS and that impacts many families futures including out-of-boundary families.
It's not an unreasonable question to ask where the process has disappeared to, and if any of the input from families who are at Hardy or headed there has been taken into account. [/quote]
