It means that their yield came in at or above what they projected. Those commits could still melt away due to accepting a waitlist spot elsewhere or personal reasons or visa snafus etc[/quote]
I think last year Dartmouth didn't start pulling from the waitlist until July, and the few years before that they didn't accept anyone off the waitlist at all, so I wouldn't hold your breath.[/quote]

I appreciate Dartmouth's transparency. They're helping kids move on. My guess is that if Dartmouth isn't going to the WL, most of the schools they might lose kids to should they get off the waitlist also won't be going to the waitlist. I doubt Dartmouth will take any off this year at all.[/quote]
