[/quote] He clearly has such a negative attachment to his racial identity because of his parents he really can’t be with anyone with even a hint of this in his past. I had a friend in high school who was biracial and her mom was white and her dad was a real jerk, deadbeat. Her mom told me to my face that I shouldn’t marry a black man when I got older. (I’m black btw). I can only imagine what kind of messages she was giving her kids. I got a similar vibe from Matt’s mom. They honestly all need lots of therapy. [/quote]
