It was pretty obvious by mid season that he didn't want to get married, maybe ever. But he isn't ready to actually admit that to himself it seems.

I know him b/c he dated one of the girls from the HBO show Insecure. I also sometimes see him before football games talking on tv at my parents house too lol. I think he's a sportscaster. But he also has this book called uncomfortable conversations with a black man and I think it recently came out. Maybe about a month or two ago.

Both men said they have to be extra careful in what they say and do because they feel pressure to set a good example as a black man. I felt bad for Matt- you can see that he is struggling with the situation but I didn't think he and Rachel would last regardless.
