100 transparent, hilarious.  He's working a cornpone, "Well, golly gee fellas I wish I could help ya more" angle and it starts falling apart as the interview goes on. There's no big mystery. He was surfing the Net, while driving, and he hit and killed a guy.  Then he started lying to try to get out of it.  It's working so far.  MAGA![/quote]

No sarcasm, how do you prove he was surfing the net at the exact moment of or moment before impact? Does a 2011 Ford Taurus have features that record precise time of a crash?

And if he had so much to hide, why did a lawyer not lawyer up immediately? I thought he came across well in the interviews. You want to beat him up because he's a Republican and you're just assuming he's a liar, go ahead. I was trying to be impartial and I think he came across overly forthright.

The police vacuumed up his phone data and they know, and confronted him with the fact, that we was reading an article critical of Joe Biden (alleging he's a 'slave to China') less than two minutes, as in one minute and change, before he dialed 9-1-1.

The guy is was surfing the Net (which all kinds of people do, idiotically, look around sometime when you're driving, you see it a lot) and he hit and killed a guy, and then made a call to 9-1-1 saying "Why, gee whiz, I do believe I hit something, maybe a deer" [wearing glasses and carrying a flashlight.]

He should've faced the music and hoped for the best.  But he didn't. He lied and kept on lying.  The fact that he's a sniveling Republican MAGA dork just makes it more annoying, but not any worse.

And yes, event data recorders in cars record all kinds of stuff.  Why didn't he "lawyer up?"  He's the f**king AG of the state. He IS the law. And he was working his lies to see if he could ride this out and make it go away.  MAGA in action. [/quote]
