Nobody applied to 17- 20 schools when we were in school, now it's commonplace[/quote] Also, HYP is also need blind for international students which has driven applications up.[/quote] Yes, I went to one of those schools after they greatly expanded financial aid, especially for international students, and one of the biggest groups benefitting from this was Canadians, especially middle class and UMC Canadians. So you're competing with many of the top students in Canada too. [/quote]
