The men who run Mater Dei came from those schools.  They have created a similar environment.  It is a positive and supporting environment.  These schools are nothing like Landon.  And yes they emphasize sports, the arts and community service on an ongoing basis. You would be amazed at the huge percentage of boys there who truly actively help others in need.  The rivalry is a fun thing.

GP is NOT the environment you think it is at all, the kids are no more cocky than they are anywhere else in the world including public school, nor am I a wealthy individual.  I was just lucky enough to be able to send my children to a wonderful place. You are completely misinformed.[/quote]
