They thought that she would tone it down but she dug in and forced their hand. I don't think that ABC is some kind of here here... with major Show Runners like Shonda Rhimes and Ryan Murphy and others inking deals with Netflix, ABC knows that they aren't the only game in town anymore and show runners will pull their content and go elsewhere. The decision to cancel Roseanne was 80% business and 20% moral. IMHO.[/quote]
