Yes, you contact the DOC and they talk about what night your player can come out to join a session. At the end of the session, you talk to the coach about next steps, which is usually asking your player to come to another session.[/quote]

ok My fear is having to make a decision based off of a team practice and being asked to commit on the spot at that point missing other" open"  tryouts with other clubs . anyone else have this dilemma? I know BRYC is a top club  but would like to pursue both burke and mclean as well[/quote]

I would recommend trying the BRYC tryout if your on the fence. Really no pressure to commit and your kid gets to see their training up close for several days. If they like your kid they will let you know and it is no pressure to sign anything. [/quote]
