It's because of you in your car, and me in my car, and all those other people in their cars, all trying to go places in our cars at the same time. And then, of course, there are buses, which stop and hold up the cars behind them. And people crossing the street on foot -- when I'm driving and stop at a crosswalk (as the law requires) to let people walk across, often other people in cars have to stop behind me. Are people on buses and people on foot also being deliberately obtuse, smug, and obstructionist (of people in cars)? [/quote]
