Take a look at Yeonas Custom if you have the budget. Or Capitol City builders. They're smaller, but do really nice work. Just stay away from NDI and Focal Point, complete garbage.
For building 8000 square foot house, how much Yeonas Custom or City builders would charge ?
250/sqft+ i dunno why would anyone go with those, they have very high overhead and a lot of your money goes into their overhead, not your house
Because they build a beautiful and well constructed house.
Any builders can build lower cost but good quality houses in McLean or Arlington? What's the new trend now?
The big cost is the land, Fairfax County or Arlington Country regulations for lot clearance, lot coverage, and storm water retention. A house can be built from $250 a square foot to $800 a square foot. Determine the amount of quality you will trade off and go from there. As to trends, we are seeing smaller sizes in Arlington because the myth of the 6,000 sf house is limited to Country Club Hills and similar areas north of Lee Highway stuck in the 1980s lifestyle.
