Yeah, I'm a "person of color" who finds attitudes like the two PPs who ponder running off to non-white men pretty off-putting and dehumanizing, to be frank.

Non-white dudes can be sexist too. They're men just like white men are. Take people on an individual level to see that they match what you're looking for.[/quote]

Who's punishing? I think you all have it wrong. Seems like PP is just searching for a guy who understands what it's like to not be in a position of total privilege. Makes sense to me. A few white guys I've dated have had nearly zero ability to empathize with what it's like to be a woman. [/quote]
