The Monterey scenery is too die for.  I love the opening credits with that fabulous bridge.  We are Easterners, but have vacationed a lot out West.

It's put California on my list. We do a lot of international travel and DH has done a fair amount of California business travel but never when it was convenient for me to go. This scenery and climate (open doors from house to balconies and decks?!) really has me intrigued. [/quote]

We do La Jolla every summer to escape the heat, humidity and bugs on most of the Eastern seaboard---but this show has me wanted to explore farther North.
