LOL, so a high IQ doesn’t prevent being an alcoholic man-child who can’t keep his shit together. Sounds great.
Intellectual capacities and emotional capacities are two separate developmental tracks. Healthy people don't have huge gaps in the two but lots of people do have some gaps. And the high intellect actually makes for a mind that can defend with more complex, elaborate defenses that actually may not serve a person. Lots of disturbed "geniuses" out there as we all know. She certainly is slow to learn and or take counsel. That's her grandiosity and omnipotence in play. She's got a web of magical thinking in that mind that reminds me of what you see in scientologists. (Not surprised her father was one, because she resembles the character one sees there). Lots of omnipotent belief in her powers, operates like there are no limits in life, believes in herself as the controller (of herself and other people) and demanding and oppositional when challenged. Hugely entitled. I've said it before and I'll say it again: She's a female Tom Cruise. He's superficially more charming, and friendlier to the general public. Her facade has had more frequent cracks. But a similar psychology.
