Are 70-somethings really going to make a fortune on social media?  That's why the 20-somethings go on: they have to be influencers and maybe don't have steady income/full-time jobs/established careers.  Are these ladies really hoping that this is going to make them superstars?  Aren't they old enough to realize that's all BS?  [/quote]

Perhaps they are just having fun. Social media costs next to nothing or less, and they certainly have the time.
