Moving to Charleston, an expensive area, all part of this whirlwind fantasy. He had a very mediocre career , never experienced what she will buy him.

I haven't watched the finale but weirdly it's not on Hulu yet. I wonder if they're editing out some of the less savory bits, eyerolls that were mentioned etc. Will be curious to see!
Doing it live was a problem exactly because of this. They should have coached him better on handling the Leslie convo. He lacks self-awareness.
That speaks volumes on its own.

But I think it is kind that he did not lead her on until the last minute (probably much to the producer’s chagrin). More respectful to Theresa also. (A few hours at least of loyalty. And he does not have to watch Leslie be shocked.)
Was he crying because he hated hurting her or because he was shutting that door? We will never know…
It was hard to watch. She was traumatized and it felt invasive to watch.
Did anyone else feel guilty?
That we are the market for a form of entertainment that ends in a real person feeling that pain?

Even the 60- and 70-yr olds are realizing that they can monetize their social media influence. If there is a way to get money/fame/casting in a new golden girls reality show, they ARE DOWN FOR IT.
They will fake it to make it ($$$, that is.).
Are 70-somethings really going to make a fortune on social media? That's why the 20-somethings go on: they have to be influencers and maybe don't have steady income/full-time jobs/established careers. Are these ladies really hoping that this is going to make them superstars? Aren't they old enough to realize that's all BS?

You're right it's not there. They are totally editing it!
+2 When are eps ever not out by 6am?
Dang, I hope not. What would ATR be without Edith's massive eye roll and Joan's steely glare?
