Stanford has at least one transgender athlete on its women's swim team. North Carolina doesn't want to deal with a lawsuit generated by an ACC competitor from the left coast.

Backlash against Budweiser & Target are examples of how high emotions and principles are about transgender issues.

Earlier I wrote about how unlikely it would be for The Big Ten Conference to accept both Cal & Stanford due to Cal & Stanford's intolerance of different viewpoints. The extreme liberalism mixed with an overwhelming attitude of self-righteousness is anathema to the more mainstream cultures of the rest of the country. And it is the opposite of what an educational environment should foster.

Beginning to think that Cal & Stanford might not find a home in any Power 4 Conference.
