Nebraska fills its stadium & has very good viewership numbers.

There are plenty of universities that fill their stadiums and have very good viewership numbers that would never, ever be invited to be members of the Big Ten.

Earlier I wrote about how unlikely it would be for The Big Ten Conference to accept both Cal & Stanford due to Cal & Stanford's intolerance of different viewpoints. The extreme liberalism mixed with an overwhelming attitude of self-righteousness is anathema to the more mainstream cultures of the rest of the country. And it is the opposite of what an educational environment should foster.

Beginning to think that Cal & Stanford might not find a home in any Power 4 Conference.

It may be an advantage to the Big Ten Conference if Stanford cannot find a home in any Power 4 Conference.

Will help other West Coast Big Ten football programs with recruiting athletes who want to remain in the region due to less competition & less likely to receive much--if any--NIL money.

If Stanford moves down, then Notre Dame's football schedule becomes weaker & lower chance of ND making the football (CFP) playoffs. May prompt Notre Dame to join a conference.
