It’s interesting in that if it was planned as a [i]celebration[/i], given her recent birthday, that there were no other guests or witnesses to the dinner.  Did she actually make it to the dinner? Was there a dinner?

We did the exact same thing for my mother in law’s birthday. We had food and cake at my house. No guests, especially since it wasn’t a milestone birthday. This is how most old people celebrate, even ones who have lots of friends. A lot of them don’t want fuss or to make their friends go out. [/quote]

If your MIL disappeared after that dinner, why steps would you want taken? Walk is thru using what we know about this case. This is what makes this case interesting. Given an everyday activity, what scenario happened?[/quote]
