+1.      In 2020, I felt we needed to rally around Biden because of the pandemic and the danger of the lunatic egomaniac Donald Trump.      But I assumed at the time that  Biden would only serve one term, and we could then vote for our favorite Democrat during the 2024 primaries.      I feel voiceless because Democrats have not been able to vote for their preferred Presidential candidate in either 2024 or 2020 (when primaries were shut down early).

I have a bit of deja vu with Ruth Bader Ginsburg choosing not to step down from the Supreme Court during the Obama Presidency and the subsequent terrible consequences.[/quote]
