I have been on the phone for the last two weeks dealing with an issue in which my health care system upcoded a procedure, billed multiple times for a single procedure, and passed the costs through a facility that I never stepped foot in but just happens to be categorized as the highest-tier for reimbursement. I absolutely see the shenanigans at this level.

And also I think insurance is a huge problem (have dealt with UHC in the past and it was a nightmare — just The Absolute Worst).

Unfortunately lots of things are true at the same time in this deeply broken system. [/quote]
