how are they going to make this rule? By asking what grade an August kid is in? If it is 8-1 to 7-31; that is the 12-month age group. If they say all August birthdays have to play with the age group above, it would make no sense? so i'm assuming you are saying it would be based on grade then?[/quote]
You just make a rule that Aug players must play with their grade in school.

When leagues are made aware of cheaters they tell them to play with the correct grade or dont play ar all.

Amazing how parents these days want everything to be contrived and catered perfectly for their child.  All sports do a year cutoff and it’s never perfect by grade.  Growing up club baseball was a May 1st cutoff and I was an April bday.  Did my parents or I give one f all or bring it up to anyone?  Hell effing no.  Did it benefit me?  Probably as I played against faster pitching earlier on which may have helped me start earlier in HS.  But I never had a single second of awareness about it growing up nor did my parents.  It wasn’t till 30 years later I enter a forum of today’s parents who are all effing nutjobs.[/quote]
