I don't have a child on the spectrum but I have worked with many. This kid was absolutely able to tune in to other people's perspectives. If he IS on the spectrum, he has picked up theory-of-mind skills amazingly well.

I don't see it at all and I find that sort of comment very harmful. Am surprised the mother of a child on the spectrum would make it.[/quote]
