They are die hard SWA fans, as much as you can be die hard fans of an airline when you only fly every 5 years.  I'd thought about springing for first class for them (finally a use for the 700,000 miles I've got stashed), but not after this![/quote]

700,000 miles?  You must fly alot for work.  No to the other airline isn't OK BS.  We don't use SWA much right now since our most common flights would require using BWI.  If they really are crazy enough to decline the nice points flight book them on a SWA wanna get away for whenever you get the lowest price, route it with stops if equally priced, and land them at BWI.  No early bird check in and let them be in the back of cattle shutes.

Use your points for a crappy hotel [whatever is cheapest] and let them pay their own local transportation.[/quote]
