When someone wrote in the original thread "this is a woman who was a nanny for 3 years," why did you correct them and say you were only a nanny in VA for one year 3 years ago? That woman didn't say anything about VA, and you were a nanny a lot longer than 3 years.
Op here: because someone tried telling me I was lying and said that I said I was a nanny in VA for 3 years which I never was.
I'll try to rephrase my question. One poster said: "This is the woman who was a nanny for 3 years. Doesn't sound like someone I'd want in charge of my kids. Unbalanced to say the least." You responded: "OP here: I was not a nanny for 3 years in VA. I said I lived there 3 years ago. Please stop posting BS stuff." This comment you made sparked like 10 pages of dialogue about whether you were actually a nanny, or whether you had been caught in a lie. At the time, I believed you clarified everything. But now that I know you were a nanny for much longer, I still do not understand your response. Why didn't you say something like, "Actually, I was a nanny for much longer than 3 years." I'm not saying you are lying. But you started an AMA thread, and this is what I'd like to understand.
