The deal with Britax seats is that 2 of their seats allow for extended harnessing which many parents want especially those with larger babies/toddler who may reasonably outgrow the standard 40lb limit on most car seats before they would safely fit in a regular seat belt and booster.  The Britax Marathon goes to 65lbs and the Britax Regent goes to 80lbs.   [/quote]
