Keep in mind that when the First St Tunnel project finally gets rolling full steam ahead 1st St may be entirely closed to southbound traffic north of RI Ave at times over a 2 year period.  All of that relief traffic that usually cuts over on Channing will be funneled further down N Cap.  And then the pending McMillan development following completion of the tunnel ... [/quote]

Thanks for the heads up!  Any idea when they are going to close 1st?  Closing 1st NW above Channing has been hell for N. Cap  - literally doubled our commute time to school!
