Sexy to who? Sexy to me? or sexy for future partners?  Obviously, if I'm doing it, it's because I want to do it.  My husband of 21 years doesn't have an issue with numbers, so it's obviously not a detriment to my long term numbers.

I'm not at 100, but 100 is not that high. If you are sexually active from age 18 to 28 and have one anonymous hook-up per month, you will end up with 120 partners over that period. That's one frat party or bar night a month.

I fooled around a lot in college...kissing on the dance floor, making out in cars, etc mainly because I was young, curious and really didn't know what I was looking for.  But actually sleeping with scores of random men...no, I couldn't have done that even at my most jaded.  I didn't necessarily want to be tied down at the stage in my life, but some amount of familiarity was a good thing - a really good thing actually.  Much better than nameless, faceless...cold.[b]

I think your "nameless, faceless, cold" is pretty judgy, but whatever.  I would bet that I'm more adventurous than you are in general, and that I score a lot higher on indexes of "openness to new experience."  Sexual adventuring isn't for everyone, though, so I don't judge you for being a boring, unadventurous, vanilla good girl.

I don't regret any of my hook-ups. They were fun or not. (Mostly fun, though.)  I regret a few boyfriends, though.

Why do you care?

On average, in high school or college, about a semester. After about a semester,  they got clingy and had to go.  I dated one guy for 18 months and that was  HUGE mistake.  After him, I stuck to hook-ups and casual lays.  [/quote]
