[/quote] Many poor people came over here in the 1600 and 1700's. Without the American Revolution best case scenario is a high percentage of the USA would be similar to Canada. Worst case is some of it would be like Mexico or Central or South America. More slaves were brought to South America. Scots Irish squatting on frontier lands were not exactly Lords and Ladies of England.[/quote]
