from the look at all your posts you are either (a) cabell maddux (b) a madlax player, (c) childless person, otherwise you would have the mental maturity to understand how important these topics are.  I live in ellicott city and have 3 in private baltimore hs.  Our club hasn't lost to madlax in sometime.  I have a nephew that plays for Gonzaga and the word from the hs dc coaches is to stay away from madlax.  This will have a longtime effect on his recruiting.  Besides once you get to hs there are several club teams that are far better choices than madlax.  What madlax excels at is having a giant middle school program, and save the email to his player, my hats off to him for that.

I've had two sons play for Gonzaga, and the word from the coaches to the players has been this: We don't care where you played lacrosse in eighth grade, and we don't care what elite summer team you're on. We'll play the best players we see on the field in front of us.

This is not something unique to Gonzaga.  All HS coaches are expected to do well, and all of them will play the best players, period.  Do you really think any HS coach would play an inferior player more just because he plays for a club that is closely affiliated with his HS program?

HS coaches just want kids who can play, and they want them to play and work on their game out of the spring HS season.  They may prefer that they play offseason with their HS teammates, but no coach - Gonzaga or otherwise - is going to making playing time decisions based on their club affiliation.  That said, all the HS coaches have certain opinions about certain clubs and certain club owners.[/quote]
