A very happy WES parent here. All parents I talk with at various grades at WES are very happy with the school. Class size getting smaller is a myth.
You must live in a bubble and not be talking to parents in 6th, 5th, 3rd, 2nd, 1st, or K. Many, many parents in those grades are very unhappy. Class size is getting smaller. 1st grade will have only 20 students, K does not have enough for 2 sections....
I beg to differ: you must be the one living in a bubble full of bad karma. I urge anybody interested in WES to ask the admissions office for correct numbers. Class size is not getting smaller. By the way, one good indicator is the percentage of WES parents that contributed to the annual giving campaign each year: it is about 100 percent this year. As a WES parent, I am simply appalled by such negative posts on such a great school. I am sorry that you have these feelings for WES. Visit the school and meet the parents, you will be surprised...
Rather than telling people to visit the Admissions Office, why don’t you give us the correct numbers so that we can all live in a factual bubble? I confirmed today that next year’s Nursery does indeed have only five families enrolled. I will get you started so that all you have to do is fill in the blanks: 2012/2013 2013/2014 Nursery 14 5 Transition 12 Kindergarten 24 1 23 2 24 3 35 4 33 5 28 6 28 7 28 8 20
There are only 20 kids in the whole 8th grade? That seems very small.
