Sadly it isn’t. Neither side can see the other’s viewpoint. That said, I think even the most hardcore pro-H person would agree that the recommendation process was rushed at the end. From watching the BOE’s faces during community testimonies, it was pretty clear they weren’t listening in good faith. It’s likely Option H was proposed by Dr. Taylor only after the BOE votes were in hand, and before any community input on it was sought.

Not quite. Council has the purse, but once funds are given to MCPS, there is no control - up to MCPS to allocate funds how they want. Consider it like a lump sum check.[/quote]
