The coach knew when half the team was missing at the same time an id session took place 
Coaches aren’t calling each other. Why would a coach call and say your player is here at tryouts. They actually don’t want the current club to know. As soon as the current club knows they start pressuring the kid to stay.

So, for those whose son/daughter have switched to a different club, did you let the coach know before you attend ID sessions and received an offer, that you will be leaving the club or did you wait to let the coach know at the end of the spring season (obviously you have an offer by then)? I would sit tight lipped and if they reach just say we have not decided yet. Let them revoke the offer. [/quote]
