The campus is beautiful, far more beautiful than many campuses I’ve visited. College Park isn’t run down, especially not with all of the growth during the last decade. And its current rankings and the research opportunities on campus make it a very desirable school. OP, check the school out for yourself. Don’t expect DCUM to give you clear answers. People here love elitism and they never agree on what is/is not elite. Visit the campus and let your kid decide. [/quote]
