They are the top schools because the rest of the country has already collapsed. There are very bright children whose parents are happy to send them to tutoring. The schools themselves are really not very good. They stick your kid in front of a computer or ipad all day. No textbooks - even for math - no paperback books for children to read. The teachers buy all the books and supplies for themselves - and have supplies donated by parents.

Much of the money goes to EdTech, like Google and Sharepoint. Others, like YouTube, comes with ads. It's literally everything I would NOT want in a school system. [/quote]
